Claustrophobic in a ski mask

This is the Mom reporting on how much not fun it is to try on ski masks on a kid who is claustrophobic.  How did I do it?  I bribed him, by taking his picture!

Door #1, FAIL!  He screamed, a lot for this one.

Door #2.  A little less screaming with this one.  He thought he was a ninja.  I was thinking bank robber, but whatever...

I thought this would be the winner, it had Bumble Bee and it had yellow.  Nope.  He went with door #2.

We still have freak outs when he puts on the mask, but its getting better.  Who says you don't remember your birth.  He's always been like this.  I blame his birth.

October Costume Fest

So many choices for Halloween.

A GI Joe Ninja.

Dad's mask for the Haunted House?  Nope.

A Super Mario Brother perhaps.   Mario?  Nope.

And the WINNER is Luigi, because it starts with "L" of course!

Logan meets Tae Kwon Do

Logan began Tae Kwon Do on Tuesday, they didn't have a uniform theat fit, so one was ordered.  As can see he has his mother's limberness.  The instructor was quite impressed with his ability to block and his kicking.  You go boy!

Surviving the AH1N1 Virus

The day The Swine Flu hit me was 8/5/09.  This will show you just how fast it comes on.  We were out at the park after the weatherman's got over it.  Playing with the ducks. Within 10 minutes of the last pic, he was vomiting and feverish.  He got diarrhea the next day and it lasted for 3 days.  The vomiting ended about the time the diarrhea started.

He was a bit better 5 days later.  I was just getting over it as well.  He slept a lot.  It was rare, but he did.

Poor Baby!

Summer '09 recap

I graduated Preschool,

A lot of trips to many parks around the area

storm chased

Scooted on the scooter

Chilled at the Splash Pad

New equipment for the swing set!

Countless trips to museums both Hastings and GI.

4th of July

Dad and I got beat go karting against Mom. I still say we had the faster kart. Mom says she out drove us!

Stick it in your pipe and...well blow bubbles!

I finally met Sully's friend after 3 summers of hearing about him. I even got to see them play together. I never saw a toad chase a dog. But than again Sully is weird! See a couple more pics on his blog.

I saw Night at the Museum 2 to kick off the summer, UP, of course Harry Potter 6, G-Force, and a couple others. Many of them in 3-D!

So much accomplished, the time flew by. I learned to ride my bike, went to the Omaha Zoo, turned 5, and so much more. Many of the events can be seen in my Mom's blog.

With just 13 days left till my first day of school I will say I have had a full summer. I just about have the whole tying my shoes thing down and roller skating too!

Birthday wishlist

I just took a shot at the one place I know where his favorite toys are located. I know all family members are close to the store too. So you can go to either toysRus or toysRus.com for his wish list. Since there really is no Harry Potter toys this time around, we went for the Imaginext we didn't have. Hope this helps and I will see you all in August!

Theater Camp Wizard of Oz

Mom's blog about it! I had a blast and will upload pics of the others later. Here are the pics of moi! We made all costumes out of things like spare fabric and straw mats. How very GREEN, made pics hard to take due to casted shadows, but oh well!!!

If I only had a brain...

I'm a biker!

On a smaller bike to build confidence. Looks like it worked, I tore up the street after I got done in the parking lot. The neighbors came out and cheered me it was so awesome! Mom and Dad are so proud of me, and I am proud of myself. We are guessing within the month we will be going on family bike rides.
